This certificate is ideal for those who are interested in education-related data and policy, and who want to add a skillset beyond teaching or who prefer a different track than classroom teaching. This certificate gives students the background in research methods and research design, basic statistics skills, ability to use statistics software, and data analytics skills expected of data analysts in the field of education.
This program is 100% online and mostly asynchronous, with the exception of EDU 715 which requires one synchronous meeting at the beginning of the semester. You can progress through the certificate at your own pace, and it is possible to finish in one year if you choose to do so.

Tuition and Financial Aid
Tuition and financial aid for CSU programs are kept competitive so you can receive the education you deserve. To begin the financial aid process, you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You must file a FAFSA every year after January 1st to receive your financial aid. Cleveland State University’s financial aid school code is 003032.
